Missouri Freshman Scholarships
The district gives three scholarships of $500 each to Missouri freshmen enrolled at MNU. The criterion is based on district involvement, spiritual growth, and financial need. The recipients of the three scholarships will be announced at the District NYI Convention. All applications must have a written recommendation from your pastor.
Missouri Endowment Fund Scholarship
At the 2005 District NYI Convention, the Missouri Endowment Fund was established to provide a Christian higher education for as many of our Missouri students as possible. This scholarship will be available to both incoming and returning students to MNU. By following the link above you will find information that explains how the endowment fund works, the qualifications for the recipients, and a reference form to be copied.
All applications must have a written recommendation from your pastor and two personal references. Interviews will be held during the NYI Convention and the recipients will be announced either at the convention or District Assembly.
Women’s Ministries Scholarship Information
The Missouri District Women’s Ministries Scholarship Program is established to give scholarships to women who are committed to serving the mission of the Church of the Nazarene who would otherwise be unable to afford a Christian education. Scholarship awards are based on academic achievement, financial need, clear call, and community outreach. Specific amounts of scholarship awards vary from year to year and are dependent on the amount of funds available.
